Dorada and yellow cheese (microwaved)

Hehe! By now you all know that dorada is my favorite fish. I simply love the taste, smell, texture and looks (!) of this fish. I just can’t get enough of it! I was really busy today, so I decided to speed up the process of cooking the fish. Oh, or was it because I was cooking chicken in the oven for my daughter at the same time? A little bit of both, as my Granny taught me something very important: never cook other food when fish is around :).

Ingredients: 2 dorada fish, 6 pieces of yellow cheese (cubes), olive oil, water, basil, salt, lemon

Baked Dorada on vegetable bed

I cook dorada very often. After cooking salmon for a very long time (baked, with or without vegetables, with or without cheese, etc) I have decided to cook dorada instead, as it is less fat and has white flesh. Here is a lovely recipe of fish on a vegetable bed that takes quite a while to cook, but the reward is stunning!

Ingredients: 2 dorada fish, 1 large potato, half a red bell pepper, 4 small carrots, 4 small tomatoes, 2 large onions, 4 garlic cloves, olive oil (4 tablespoons), water (1 large cup), salt, basil, juice of 1 lemon
