Lemon, butter and garlic asparagus

The past month was the most painful period of my life. I definitely have a different view on life and important things now, and I also have a piece of advice for all my readers: life is not as long as it seems; we should spend as much time as we can with our loved ones. I choose to spend my time with my little family (now, sadly, even smaller…) and I do not feel in any way unaccomplished, lacking social life or other pitiful things people feel when they do not choose to take care of someone and love them dearly. And cooking still plays a large role in my life :).

This is a completely new recipe: my Grandfather came to visit and I cooked asparagus for the first time. We all liked the celery/onion/fennel looking and tasting vegetable, and I promised to try it again.
