Chicken legs with tomatoes

I have cooked chicken so many times in my life, and still it is such a delight to add something different and make my daughter like “the new” dish! Amazing what a humble beggar for compliments I become when I prepare food, especially for my daughter.

Ingredients: 6 chicken legs (the lower parts), 16 cherry tomatoes, zest of 1 lemon, 6 garlic cloves, water (1 cup), salt, olive oil (3 tbsp)

Yield: 3 servings.

Time: 1 hour 45 minutes max.


I preheat the oven (moderate). I defreeze the chicken legs in the microwave oven (30-40 min).

I wash the tomatoes and peel the garlic.

I rub the chicken legs with lemon juice. I salt the chicken legs, and then I place them with the tomatoes, garlic, olive oil and water in a heat resistant pot. I put them in the oven. I turn them on the other side after 1 hour. I bake them for 1.5 hrs in total.Voila!
