I like things. I like many things. So many things… I like the way they pile up and they grow in numbers and explode and jump like flowing from a crazy spring of things. I like innervating the spring of things so it spits out more and more things. Sometimes I am totally uninspired, and I end up going back to the old pile of things I already like. Anyway, I always have my pile of things I can play with. I can count them, enjoy them and sometimes share them. I can calculate their worth and sell them all for nothing when I think it’s time. I can always get them all back just by playing a good old song I am not going to name. However, there is one thing I cannot do with my things: I cannot mix them with other people’s things. I am such a prude.

I love young people with an attitude. Whatever the attitude.I love when people believe they are right. I love when young people think that they know everything and they can die contradicting you, beer in hand, until they forget why they were contradicting you.We were all there.We all went through stages of utter stupidity, stubbornness and indecisiveness.We were in turns cute, depressed, interesting, and then boring to death.The lucky ones learn from life, from their experiences and other people’s experiences.The unlucky ones turn 35 and are still looking – looking stupid.

Pentru cei interesati, am adaugat intrebarile la sfarsitul textului :).
1. Numeste o formatie sau un cantaret care nu-ti vine sa crezi ca ti-a placut cand erai mai tanar.
Manowar! Nu am de ce sa ilustrez aceasta alegere, in nici un fel. As plictisi pe multi si as distra pe si mai multi, asa ca pastrez pentru mine…
2. Numeste o formatie sau un cantaret pe care o / il urai in tinerete si pe care acum o / il adori.
Pai nu exista… Nu am reusit sa urasc cantareti. Am „urat” melodii, si am ignorat multi artisti. Plus ca mi-am format gusturile din copilarie.
3. Numeste o formatie sau un cantaret care a trecut testul timpului, care iti place de la inceput si pana acum.
Depeche Mode si altii gen (Erasure, New Order, Camouflage etc).
4. Numeste un cantec caruia nu-i poti rezista si te apuca bataiala sau datul din picioare.
Orice piesa Depeche Mode! Imi canta inima in piept cand aud DM, oriunde, oricand…
5. Numeste un album de pe care iti place sa asculti fiecare melodie.
Ce-mi plac intrebarile la care raspund invariabil: Depeche Mode!!! Toate albumele lor, mai putin Ultra si Songs of Faith and Devotion de pe care ascult selectiv. Urmeaza multe albume ale trupelor din scena electro/goth: In Strict Confidence (La Parade Monstrueuse, Exile Paradise – albume excelente), And One, Rabia Sorda, Endanger, Project Pitchfork, Camouflage, Necro Facility, Covenant, Aesthetic Perfection si albumele altor multi, multi alti artisti underground, geniali si underrated, evident.
6. Numeste o formatie sau un cantaret de care esti atat de satul/a incat iti doresti sa nu mai auzi in veci de ea/el.
Atunci cand schimbam CD-urile in masina exista o pauza. In acea pauza, evident, se aud melodii de la radio. As dori sa comentez cate ceva despre artistii romani in voga, dar ma abtin. Nu e treaba mea! Incerc sa imi tin copilul departe de asa ceva si cred ca reusesc (ma felicit!).
7. Numeste o formatie sau un cantaret pe care partenerul tau sau prietenii o/il adora si tu nu-l poti suferi.

8. Coverul tau preferat.
Orice cover Depeche Mode e binevenit. Nu pot sa nu remarc de fiecare data, insa, ca originalul nu poate fi egalat! Oricat ar fi el de bine realizat. Va las pe voi sa comparati:

It takes dedication and a lot of patience to carry on. It takes guts to do what we are doing. It takes time others spend with their families, sleeping, having fun, etc. It takes up chunks of our lives and the reward is most of the time missing. Thank God for grateful friends!
Why do we keep doing this? Because we think we should pursue our dream and quit only when we are sick or penniless. Until then, stay close. A star was born!
I think that my opinions haven’t really changed over time. I think that my thoughts are more refined, objective, positive, selfish, solar and definitely less radical. There are subjects (such as my country, education, domestic violence and some others) that still make my blood boil, but usually I am less consumed by everyone else’s business on earth. Some contradictions in what I am saying you think? Good! This is what we are, various representations of contradictions, it just takes a lot of guts to realize and admit it.
One of the most important things in my life is music. I live through music, always have. I even founded a company in Romania with a dear friend of mine to promote the music we love: electro/industrial. I couldn’t care less about anyone’s opinion about this music, as they probably couldn’t care less about my opinion about the music they listen to. And we are underground, so we should be “different”, isn’t it? I don’t think that there are types of music that are better than others, although there are some limitations here (lol). I, for one, don’t listen to jazz. That does not mean that I concluded that jazz listeners are wasting their time, jazz is just not an option for me.
I do not agree to the idea that the music we listen to makes us special or more superior (read above other human beings). No way. But I am sure that the music we like can (and should) make us a better person.
For me: ethereal sounds and violent beats, surreal voices and distorted cries, beat after beat and the rhythm and the voice inside me that cries to get out and free the energies of the universe, they all make me a better person. You may completely disagree. Fine with me. If you are reading this post and you don’t like what I am saying it is not my fault, but yours. You are in the wrong place.
